Ron Derewecki
earned his Bachelors from West Liberty State College and went on to earn
a Masters of Education from Penn State University. He taught science in
the Coshocton school district for over 30 years, including operating the
planetarium. During his time at Coshocton, he lead many science
initiatives including: science fairs, summer science camps, and Space
City (a space camp-like simulation for fourth graders, done on a budget).
Adam Derewecki
(Ron's youngest son and former student) earned his Bachelors in Computer
Engineering from Case Western Reserve University. Since graduating, he's
worked at numerous software start-ups in San Francisco. His passion for
improving the state of the education system drew him to this project.
